One of our owners is also our resident artist. James Young embarked on his art career while still enrolled in college. After much insistence, his father convinced him to produce a pen and ink line drawing of the Granville skyline. This was put into production on various items for sale in The Granville Times Book Cellar. After graduating from the Columbus College of Art and Design in 1985, James continued producing hand colored renditions of historic landmarks in the Granville area. To this day, that first design from 1984 continues to be a top seller. His style has evolved over the years, and he periodically produces a Granville or Denison University themed print to add to the portfolio. See links for availability and ordering information.
